I was listening to the Joe Rogan Podcast with Dr. Rhonda Patrick (episode 502) and she mentioned this cool graphic about vitamin D.
I knew that vitamin D acts like a hormone. It is one of the few vitamins we can synthesize form the sun but I had no idea how many people are deficient in this.

How I brought My Vitamin D levels up.
Last check-up my Doctor told me I had the Vitamin D levels of a Rock Star.
“Like Keith Richards?” I said.
“No, I mean better than most people.”
How did I do it?
This is normally where the blog writer starts selling you on an extremely expensive Vitamin D supplement. Luckily you have stumbled upon my web page and I will give you the honest truth and that is that I take gummies. Vitafusion gummy vitamins work wonders and they are cheap.
This is what I do and by no means does this mean I am recommending you do this. I double up on the dosage. I take two Vitafusion D3 gummies in the morning and two at night. I also take two of the Vitafusion Men’s Multivitamin gummies in the morning and at night. That is about 6,000 IU’s daily but remember, I am larger than the average guy.
The key is that the gummies break down faster and get better absorption than traditional pills and capsules. Plus they taste great and I will actually remember to take them. I don’t like taking pills so I was very happy to find an affordable solution that works.
If you have low Vitamin D levels work with your Doctor and get tested. The test isn’t expensive and is a much more effective way to base your dosage.
