How much does personal training cost?
That’s a great question. To give you an idea I went on Google and compiled some averages as well as Thumbtack to be able to compare local rates.
The cost of a personal training session can vary widely depending on several factors, including
- Location
- Trainer’s experience
- Qualifications
- Length of session
- Additional services or amenities offered.
Here’s what I found compared to what I charge.
Please keep in mind that we can charge whatever we want. Ideally that is based on knowledge, experience and training but often it isn’t. So ask a lot of questions.
As a coach, here are a few questions I would ask.
- What are your certifications? ( The answer should be more than one and should be in alignment to what you need.)
- Do you carry insurance?
- How many clients do you have?
- How long have you been doing this and is it a full-time job?
