I think this is where I am supposed to sell you over-priced supplements with the promise of losing fat effortlessly while enjoying your favorite movie on Netflix.
And I would love to do that except it would be a big fat lie. (no pun intended)
Instead I need to talk to you realistically about vitamins and supplements. Because if I don’t, then I feel like I am not doing my job.
Here is my honest opinion. And when I say opinion, I am really being modest because what I am going to tell you is based on science.
Supplements will account for 5% to 10% of your success.
Even Bill Phillips, founder of EAS, backs this up.
That means the other 90-95% is:
- Getting in the right workouts.
- Eating the right foods.
- Getting enough rest (recovery time).
Not very glamorous but it is the truth.
So, if you are trying your best at these 3 things and you are stuck…then supplements are a good way to break through that plateau.
If you are sitting on the couch looking for an easy way to get back in shape, they will be a waste of your money.
