DAY 2: TAKEAWAY

It ain’t cheating if it’s in the rules!

Thanks for hanging in for day 2. Yesterday I crushed the hopes and dreams of pizza and donut lovers everywhere by taking those things off your plate.

Or did I?

Of course not.  There is nothing better in life than good BBQ or pizza and a cold beer. It would be very easy for me to tell you the secret of weight loss is eating clean 100% of the time.

But that is a lie.

Top athletes don’t eat clean all the time. You don’t have to be perfect and this is the lesson of the day. All I’m asking is that you eat clean 90% of the time.

  • 90-10% rule
  • 5 meals a day x 7 = 35 = 3.5 cheat meals/week
  • 7 meals a day x 7 = 49 = 4.9 cheat meals/week
  • Don’t play lawyer-ball with me. Portions are still portions. A gallon of ice cream is not a portion!

  • 6 days on eating clean.
  • 1 day off (see the Rock’s twitter feed) Eat whatever you want in whatever quantity.
