Getting Started

Welcome,

Thank you for taking the time to take my Rut Buster Challenge.

They say that when the student is ready the master appears.

Wow, that sounded pretty pretentious!

Seriously, I can assure you that I am not a master and that I do not have all the answers.

Really I am just like you. Some goals are relatively easy and fun to achieve. Others….less so.

My confession: I put this program together to help myself as much as a way to help you.

So please don’t be a passive student. Ask questions and voice your opinions.

Step 1: Resources

Take two-seconds and join my other sites so you don’t miss a thing:

Facebook: http://facebook.com/mfactorfitness

Ask questions, see what other members in the challenge are doing and just read some good fitness stuff.

Twitter: http://twitter.com/mfactormike

Youtube: http://youtube.com/mfactorfitness

I have a bunch of videos that will help you with your workouts. Check it out.

Step 2: Downloads

You only need 1 download and it is free. Go to either the Apple App store or your Android store and search for Habit Bull.

It looks like this.

It is a free app that will track up to 5 actions/Habits.

You can upgrade to unlimited tracking but for our purposes the free version will work just fine.

Here is a video tutorial on HabitBull

Homework:

Download the app.

Step 3: Setting Your Goal

Here is a short video on setting your goals, actions/habits, Icebergs and Iceberg Busters.

Homework

Grab your favorite beverage, sit in a comfy chair and think about 4 things.

  1. Your Goal
  2. 3-5 habits you will have to need to do to achieve that goal.
  3. What things always seem to pop up to derail your plans?
  4. How are you going to react this time when those things pop-up.

Get a basic idea of what you want to achieve. It doesn’t have to be perfect.

For those of you who can’t wait for the next video……

Here is the link to the next page that contains all the videos for the rest of the course.

It really isn’t a bad idea to watch them now if you have time. It will give you a nice overview and hopefully get you excited.

Then as you get my weekly emails, you re-watch the video of the week.

P.S. I apologize in advance because you are going to get tired of looking at my face.

Questions

Can I Invite Friends and Family?

If you like this program, feel free to share the link with anyone. M Factor members are like family to me and I hope this program widens the scope of who I can reach.

Do I get workouts with this course?

This is a course for working out the mind. But if you need a workout plan, think about joining my online training.

I am keeping the introductory price of $10/month open to all Rut buster participants.

Do I have to share my results.

No, but remember there is a lot of power in being held accountable. So you can post your results, good or bad, on the M Factor Facebook page.

Or maybe do this with a friend and keep the results between the both of you.

Is this a lot of work?

Oh yes. Mental work is sometimes harder than physical work. If you are honest with yourself, you will make great progress.

If you don’t want to ask yourself hard questions, you probably won’t get past the first week.

Again, here is the link to the next page of videos.

That is enough for one day. See you on the next page.
